Genico™ Showcase at MSC Centre for Health Innovation and Medical Enterprises (CHIME)

NGC Systems showcased Genico™ to foreign dignitaries, senior officials and industry leaders from various nations during their visit to the MSC Flagship Centre and Centre for Health Innovation and Medical Enterprises (CHIME) at Cyberjaya, Malaysia. This opportunity strongly identified NGC Systems as a purebred local technology innovator, drawing interest from the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, YB Dato’ Dr. Jamaluddin Mohd Jarjis at the event. CHIME is funded under the 8th Malaysia Plan and established as centers of excellence with a unique environment to:

1) catalyze the growth and diversification of creative applications
2) facilitate the Cross Flagship Applications integration and inter-operability
3) spur the growth of telehealth enterprises and industry in Malaysia.

NGC Systems' Genico™ can be a critical IP communications application to save lives as it allows a secure and encrypted communication channel to send, share and receive information in data, video, voice and shared applications. It can be used for caregivers and the medical community at telehealth enterprises, hospitals, Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Trauma Units and operating theatres to increase their reach ability and communicate critical medical information using a wide spectrum of devices.

NGC Systems launches Genico™ version 1.2

With business partners and strategic technology allies, NGC Systems unveiled Genico™ version 1.2, an advanced IP Communications technology and its suite of communication applications intended for telecommunication providers, carriers, mobile operators and large multi national enterprises. The historic milestones were a cause for much celebration as NGC Systems chief technology officer Owen Chen also introduced Genico™ mission of `Moving Ahead with Convergence'. The Genico™ Moving Ahead with Convergence event was well attended by more than 200 guests and VIPs at the Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, one of Malaysia's most prestigious landmarks.

Genico™ Showcase at the National Innovation Summit 2004

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi received a personal briefing and firsthand account about Genico™ from NGC Systems chief technology officer Owen Chen. NGC Systems was one of 18 select Malaysian enterprises invited to demonstrate its innovation at the first edition of the National Innovation Summit 2004. The three-day event highlights the cream of Malaysian innovations and was held at the Palace of Golden Horses, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
