NGC Systems Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s
leading Internet Protocol (IP) converged communications
provider will bring its infamous white-hot Genico™
excitement, delivering answers and solutions
on IP converged communications and Next Generation
Network (NGN) at HP AP Software Bootcamp 2005
from July 18 to 21, 2005, Hilton Kuala Lumpur.
As a HP Asia Pacific OpenCall partner, NGC Systems
will share successful experiences from deployments
in more than six countries like Thailand, Pakistan,
Norway, Australia, Hong Kong and South Korea.
“We are excited to be part of HP Software
Bootcamp 2005. It grants a valuable window of
opportunity for us to cross pollinate ideas
and thoughts with HP team members and HP channel
partners,” said NGC Systems chief technology
officer Owen Chen.
In addition, NGC Systems will showcase Genico™
and Genico™ MRBT solution
at the highly intensive four-day event, organized
for both sales and technical participants.
The
gem: GLC 2.0
At HP AP Software Bootcamp, NGC Systems will
showcase the jewel in its crown, Genico™
Live Contact 2.0 (GLC), which
is a Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) front-end
client. GLC 2,0 was recently launched at CeBIT
Asia 2005 in Shanghai, China. “GLC 2.0
is very important. It can shorten the time for
telecommunication operators and service providers
who are deploying IP services. As a fully compliant
SIP client, the telcos can easily mate their
IP services with GLC 2.0’s functionalities,”
explained Chen.
GLC 2.0 has user-intuitive features and can
be used by their subscribers to access IP services
by using Microsoft Windows XP desktop PCs, mobile
notebooks; current generation of smartphones
and Wi-fi enabled Personal Digital Assistants
(PDAs). “GLC 2.0 can be customized and
is available as to Original Equipment Manufacturers
or OEMs, who can brand it as their part of their
own product portfolio,” said Chen. GLC
2.0 is the latest addition to NGC Systems’
Genico™ suite of communication technology
for fixed or mobile telecommunication operators,
data communication service providers and consumer
communication electronic manufacturers.
“Visit us for a hands-on experience with
GLC 2.0. Check out the data, voice and video
plus conferencing capabilities, when mated with
other Genico™ solutions like Genico™
MConferencing and Genico™
PowerBase. Try its secured
virtual whiteboard, secured file transfers with
built key interfaces for loggers, automate functions
like voice mail-to-email, call transfer, auto
answering, auto redial and more - all within
the convenience of a single interface.”
Chen added GLC 2.0 is also compliant with the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act or better known as SOX.
Other Genico™ solutions which will be
showcased include Genico™ MRBT,
a complete end-to-end system which serves, manages
and controls the value-added service of music
ring back tones (RBT). Telecommunication operators
and service providers can use Genico™
MRBT to increase their revenue
streams by providing customized ring back tones.
“The excitement surrounding Genico™
MRBT is that it can be rapidly
deployed and simple-to-manage underneath the
enormous complexity that governs a ring back
tone service,” said Chen. “We have
specifically designed Genico™ MRBT
for telecommunication operators and service
providers seeking to offer a new personalization
service using Ring Back Tones (RBT)s which can
used and heard by their IP, mobile and fixed
line subscribers.”
An
open partnership invitation
NGC Systems is keen on establishing partnerships
with suitable parties. “Sample our capabilities
and technology at our booth,” said Chen.
“We want to share our excitement about
Genico™’s breakthrough technology
at HP AP Software Bootcamp 2005. We’re
eager and interested to hear your opinions and
share ideas.”
