Genico™
3G Pocketsports is a new breed of
packet-based streaming 3G video sports solution with
advanced features like MatchTalk, LockerRoom and MyChoice.

MatchTalk
Allows multiple subscribers to simultaneously watch
a single sport clip using their respective 3G handset
or IP softphone. Subscribers can share comments using
multiparty conferencing – voice, video or IM, while
watching the same clip.

LockerRoom
An online media library which allows subscribers to
save clips of match highlights. Subscribers have instant
access to their library of best clips which they can
replay at any time and share with their friends, neighbours
or colleagues.

MyChoice
Subscriber personalization. allows subscribers to
state their preferences using keywords like “Player
1” or “Team 1”. Genico™ 3G Pocketsports
matches text commentaries from the clips to subscriber
keyword preferences. Subscribers can change their
MyChoice preferences by accessing a Genico™ 3G
Pocketsports-powered Web and Wireless
Access Protocol (WAP) portal, both linked to an Interactive
Voice Response (IVR) system.
A high degree of
intelligence and automation in Genico™ 3G Pocketsports
enable it to automatically extract match highlights
from a live broadcast or feed. Critical tasks like
video extraction, clip creation and preparation and
smart text indexing are automated. Service providers
can rapidly match specific clips and stream it to
subscribers based on their preferences while the match
is still on-going. Genico™ 3G Pocketsports
increases turnaround time, frees valuable resources,
increases marginal profits and eliminates costly overheads.
